The Wines

These are seriously good wines, made in classic styles for the progressive, hip consumer who appreciates honesty and humor. We don't spend anything on advertising, promoting, sales incentives, competitions or rebates. Our cost is just the winemaking and the grapes.

We also have negotiated a great deal for getting our wine to our retail customers. The only catch is, we can only get that deal with a five case minimum per varietal. With this quality, at this price, you may want more than that anyway.

2002 Pinot Noir

We cheerfully purchase expensive burgundy through our faith in a well-established law of nature that Pinot Noir for this price cannot be worthy of serious attention. Yet here it is. Lush fruit, spicy flavor depth, ample structure. Generous enough to rock your world. For peanuts.

2003 Cabernet Sauvignon

You shrewd cookie. You may hold in your hand the best wine value of your brief existence. Jim Peterson's exquisite Lodi cabernet offers rich cassis carried by dense, supple tannins married with some really beautiful French oak. Chips. So shoot me.

2003 Zinfandel

Fear not! The wondrous bottle now in your hand is as good as any zinfandel really needs to be. Its lush core of Lodi fruit more than satisfies, but there's more. Such refined tannin and graceful alcohol balance deserve extra credit at any price. So take home two.

$72 / case. No discounts.
